Over the years that followed his reputation grew and a lot of his work has been published
in magazines. Brent has been particulary recognised and awarded for tattooing women.
It's true that he has a natural ability to make people feel relaxed and confident in his ability.

Perhaps it has also to do with the fact that Brent is also a Reiki Master.

Some time after starting Viking Tattoos, Brent got together with a few others including
Lal Hardy, Ian of Reading and John Williams and they organised the first major
UK Tattoo Expo at Dunstable Queensway Hall which continued for some years.

During the 1990s Brent was influenced by new electronic dance music of that time and
became interested in mixing records. He went on to buy his own decks and soon he was
mixing it up at techno parties under his d.j. name "Dark Viking".

The Viking Tattoo Studio was, for a time, also the home of Level-1 (Internet Music Station)
with resident and guest d.j.s playing every friday evening live from Brent's cellar.

These days Brent is as active as usual, both in spiritual pusuits as well as many new creative projects including another hand-crafted art called pinstriping, plus many new aspects of
tattoo design.

Brent's enthusiasm for classic cars continues unabated with two major restorations
under way, the first of which is a formidable looking Czech Tatra that will delight
onlookers and upset the purists! Brent is a member of the Tatra Register (UK)
